Mississippi Technology Super Session

"The Katrina disaster is just not something that one can comprehend by reading newspapers or weblogs, or by watching TV video clips. I have to face the truth: I lack the ability to comprehend the scope of this disaster. I realize that almost every day, even though I'm living in the midst of it. . ."

"Ernie the Attorney, searching for truth and justice (in an unjust world)", Ernie Svenson, December 2, 2005

We wish to thank all of our wonderful sponsors.

Without you, none of this would have been possible.

The Legal Electronic Document Institute, a non-profit legal educational corporation, is pleased to announce a free Technology Super Session for Mississippi attorneys to be held on Nov.2 at the Jackson Hilton. LEDI has been active in the ongoing renewal efforts in the Gulf Coast region by providing free technology conferences for attorneys affected by the hurricanes of 2006. The first such event was a highly successful two-day legal technology session which was held in May at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans.

The Mississippi Super Session will once again feature some of the the best known legal consultants in the profession including Ross Kodner, Andy Adkins, Jim Calloway and Adrianna Linares as well as Monica Bay, Editor of Law Technology News as our luncheon keynote speaker. Although the specific agenda of sessions is still being developed, LEDI will once again provide a full calendar of CLE sessions specifically designed to provide Mississippi attorneys with the help and assistance they need to rebuild their practices.

At this point, what we're looking for is vendor support for our efforts. We believe this endeavor will be extremely successful since we have the full support of the ABA and the Mississippi Bar however what we need now are donations to proceed. Every company we've approached so far said they wanted to help, no questions asked.

I sincerely hope that you are willing to participate in this urgently needed effort for the legal community in Mississippi and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Tom O'Connor, Director, Legal Electronic Documents Institute
